The solution to youth crime is simple. Change the laws to allow for youth to be charged as adults until the crisis is over.
The only reason they commit the crime is because they know they can get away with it.
It truly is that simple.
Or a more complicated route, and this tends to be the most popular solution, could be to create learning facilities out bush that will give them the skills necessary to become a functioning part of society when they get out.
But realistically the first is the easiest, it’s simple, and it’s possible.
Yet the problem is still not solved.
And it’s not like as if they aren’t aware of the issue.
For instance, I organized a protest that gathered 300 people at the Cairns convention center, where parliament was sitting at the time, to highlight our disgust at the government’s youth crime laws.
Yet nothing was done.
“But maybe it’s just too hard to change the laws?”
It’s not, because not long after a smaller protest I held, pictured here, Pala-ashtray did change the laws to increase maximum penalties for youth crime to try and shut everyone up.
However, youth criminals are never charged with the maximum penalties.
They obviously know this.
It looks as though they want youth crime to continue because because of one thing; order out of chaos.
Rising crime rates are adding to racial tension.
To stop this, more laws are introduced.
This then leads to total government control.
Surveillance is a consequence of the tension between the people. Tension that they could’ve prevented from the start.
Places around Australia are already being marked for a transition into becoming 15 minute cities.
Without crime, what excuse is there to fill every corner of a city with cameras?
The crime situation can be solved with the flick of a pen, but they don’t do that.
There is a much larger plan here. And when I first started my activism in Cairns many years ago, I didn’t know that.
When I realized how easy it was for them to solve the issue, is when I started to wake up.
Now I’m focused on the bigger picture.

Trust me, all is not lost. It is surprisingly easy to make change.
