Digital ID is being presented as a quick and efficient way of proving who you are and what your credentials are for ease of access to a variety of everyday things. In theory, if you apply for a job or to rent a new home or anytime you would otherwise need to provide piles of paperwork, you can just quickly scan your phone and it’s done.
And that sounds great on the surface. And I’m sure the average person could be sold on that quite easily.
Yet I’m one of the biggest critics of Digital ID that there is, I’m firmly against it.
Why?
Because of what it will lead too.
Who controls this ID system? Because It’s ultimately not going to be the individual. It will be the state.
The state will have access to everything about you. Your entire identity. They’ll hold the key to your entire life.
And they can take this key away at anytime, whether that’s by denying access to it or by denying other services access to it, because they are the ones storing that key for you in their servers.
And we don’t have to speculate about what that could lead too. This is already happening in China as we speak. A social credit system is being actively tied to the Chinese citizen’s Digital ID. During the Plandemmic if you didn’t have your COVID checks up to date you would not be able to use certain services. In many districts of Chinese cities gates and checkpoints were erected that looked like the bars of prison cells. They have to scan their ID to pass through these checkpoints.
Which leads me to my next point.
15 minute cities, now being called smart cities due to backlash, are being proposed within the “former” British empire. Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK have all had to varying degrees the same push for these 15 minute containment zones. Essentially you will be kept within the confines of your zone by the government, which would be enforced with a digital system of checks.
Meaning they need Digital ID to make it work.
The justification for this is that it helps protect the environment or something. To reduce peoples carbon footprint and allow for people to have everything they could ever need within their 15 minute zone without the need for cars. Sounds noble. But obviously this means you will essentially be locked in an open air prison.
Digital ID’s are needed to make this smart city work.
Medical mandates will be tied to the Digital ID in one way or another. And restriction of movement will be tied to it in one way or another as well. From there you can continue to speculate just how many things could be tied to this controlling system.
Obviously none of this will happen immediately. As the common modern tactic of governance is to “boil the frog slowly.” which means it will be slowly and cautiously implemented over many years so that no one notices any change.
But to bring it back to now, Digital ID will seem like a quick and efficient way of verifying identity for daily life, like work, purchases and proof of residence etc. But the problem is what this will lead too. The problem is who holds this key to everything about you. And who in the future can manipulate or even keep that key to your life from you in some way or another.
This is why Digital ID is one of the most dangerous developments of our time. And could very well lead to our enslavement.
