It seems that modern culture, the mainstream media, and our socialist government have nothing but disrespect for the people. It was only two days ago that it propped up trans visibility day on Easter, with Easter being one of the most important celebrations in the west, and one of the greatest family days too, yet the assault on the values and traditions that matter seem endless.
Yet this April marks the first time Anzac month will be widely celebrated by Australians and New Zealanders everywhere. On Anzac Day, we mourn, and we remember them. On Anzac month however, we celebrate them. Because they deserve celebration.
This month we celebrate mateship, the close and inseparable bond between Australia and New Zealand, and of course, we celebrate our great armed forces on land, sea and in the air.
To fight back against the onslaught of demoralization, we must all declare our support for Anzac month and the Anzac spirit. Mourning those lost but more importantly, celebrating those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, those who have lost limbs and minds for our people, and those who are still serving now, putting their lives on the line so that we can be safe.
In WW1 we were amongst the best fighting forces in the world, and we came out on top as being some of the most highly skilled, highly disciplined, and incredibly courageous soldiers in both the western trenches and in Gallipoli. Even the Turks highly respected our soldiers regardless of how close we were to Constantinople.
In WW2, the Japanese invaded the Australian colonies in Papua and we fought back ferociously, trekking up the formidable Kokoda track and repelling the Japanese, thus buying the US enough time to push the Island-hopping campaign closer towards Japan itself.
And since then, because of our close relationship with the Americans that we built during and after WW2, our soldiers have fought valiantly and efficiently time and time again through the countless wars and skirmishes involving our ally and their enemies.
But if it wasn’t for our troops and their bravery, we may very well not have a nation. If it wasn’t for our troops fighting alongside the Americans for the last few decades then our nation would like like easy picking to communist dystopias like the Chinese surveillance state.
Although America’s wars have been questionable in nature, our forces actions, determination, and spirit have not been.
They have, and always will, be fighting for the safety and prosperity of our people. 🇦🇺🇳🇿
So this month we celebrate them.
The Anzac’s of old, and the all of the current Australian and New Zealand defense force personnel.
