Well done! You just lied and bribed your way into the seat of power of the democracy of your choosing! But now you need to consolidate your power and make sure you win the next election. Now obviously you won’t win it by being honest and genuine, since neither are you, so here is a guide to allow you and your international backers to retain control over the people.
Your first step is to buy votes. You can do this legally by implementing a welfare system. Don’t worry though, as you don’t need to find the money to pay for it yourself, all you need to do is raise taxes and force the people to pay for it. So long as you keep talking about helping people and building roads and stuff, they won’t question it. But if they do start questioning it, then maybe it’s time to boost the amount of money spent on the police force and secret services.
With the welfare system in place then you have secured the votes of those who are now dependent on it. And because of inflation (if you haven’t started printing plastic money by now, now’s the time), you can continually promise your welfare recipients that more money will be spent on them without you actually having to produce any real capital.
Next, you want to read a book called the communist manifesto. It’s written for a low IQ audience but if you read it through the lens of a scheming psychopathic spastic like yourself, then you can see how one state in charge of an “equal” people will be beneficial in your clearly unequal position.
And so make sure that anyone who is making too much money is “Plata or plomo’d”, also you can implement a progressive taxation system, try taxing the people at the top 50% of their income, then distract their high IQ minds with complicated tax return laws so they think they’re gaming the system (they’re just buying the junk that you want them to buy, made by your donors of course).
Remember of course that if you begin losing support, you can always increase the tax rate or print more money to drop those people just scraping by into the welfare system, they’ll vote for you if they have to. Also, if you find that by now people are becoming less fond of you, you can always run an election against your mate and you can just become a senator for life or something and still call the shots. You can call this a “two party system”.
But if you and your mates are running elections against each other and still the people are not fond of you, then maybe it’s time to change the people!
And remember what we learned from the start? Welfare = votes! So, lets pump this country with rando’s from all over the third world who are incredibly poor and uneducated, and then just start injecting cash into their veins man. Just throw money at them and then say how much you love them, and you love diversity and respect their culture, just whatever, say whatever you want.
Because anyone who doesn’t agree with you is already on a watch list, and anyone who runs with a policy that is against yours won’t get any votes because they won’t be paying them for it.
And just like that, you have a two-party system with an entirely controlled populace. Works every time.
