Everyday I get home from work and put on my VR headset.
I play games, watch movies, and talk to people online.
But It dawned on me that none of that is real.
What does the outside world actually look like right now?
When I ask on social media if our virtual reality is the same as actually reality, my post gets deleted.
When I ask what’s on the other side of the wall, again, my posts get deleted.
I understand why they delete them, but why won’t at least one person answer me?
Every video has AI in the hashtags.
Every time I research a celebrity they turn out to be AI.
Every time I look into a politician they also turn out to be AI.
No one is real.
They said the climate crisis restrictions were only temporary, but I’m still in my 15 minute city.
Why are my credits are still being taken away to save the environment.
I applied for a permit to visit the 15 minute city over from me but it was denied.
Why is my movement being still restricted?
Does this happen to everyone?
I can’t talk to people in public because we’re all so anxious when the drones are watching.
And when we’re online I can’t even tell if the person I’m speaking to is real or AI.
I feel trapped.
What is even going on outside of my digital walls?
What is actually happening outside my 15 minute city?
