The modern trend in politics is to be in one of two camps. The “Conservatives” who are considered right wing, or the “liberals” who are considered as being progressives, marxists, socialists, communists, and of course left wing. The conservatives aim to conserve national values or traditional systems, and the liberals aim to change national values and traditional systems. However, these statements are the simplified explanation. In reality, and unique to our modern age, these opposing ideologies act completely different to how they should.
Conservatives in reality are not conservative. And liberals do not want to change any political systems, they just want to keep growing them. In the modern west, the ideologies of the liberals is what drives politics. They are the ones who set the standard. They are the ones who change society and traditions whilst the conservatives conserve those changes for them. Many people believe, through their hatred and/or opposition to liberal values, that their conservative values undo, remove or prevent any changes of that of the liberals. In reality they do not. Instead, the modern conservative is a liberal who is lagging 10 years behind the present liberals.
An example of this is that the major conservative parties and ideologies of 50 years ago vehemently opposed same sex marriage and/or homosexuals in general. Whereas today the vast majority vehemently and vocally support both. This change in conservative values, which again shows that conservatives are not conservative, was brought about by the liberals. In fact, within the last 50 years at least, all changes to traditional norms and government policy in western countries has been brought about by the liberals. An even more striking example, is that in the last 10 years conservatives were anti-transgenderism. Now many support or turn a blind eye to transgenderism. And as of writing this, some conservatives are even accepting of gender theory, meaning they believe that there could be more than two genders. This gender theory has only been popular however within the last 5 or so years.
Brexit, which is the economic split of Britain from the European union, was a conservative movement which in essence aimed at securing British economic protectionism and curtailing or removing immigrant arrivals. The result of this is that there has been no conservative change. Immigrants are pouring into Britain just as before and the nation is still reliant on the EU. Their failure in setting their ideas in stone is simply because they are not conservative. They didn’t conserve anything; everything is still changing and its changing to suit the liberal ideologies and their leaders. Outside of this major conservation, where nothing really was conserved, no conservative movement has made any ground.
From this we can then make educated guesses about the future. And one guess would be that gender theory will be accepted and defended by conservatives within the next few years. Another is that paedophilia, which is starting to be pushed by leftist circles, will also be defended as conservative and traditional within maybe the next 20 years. And universal basic income will be accepted as a conservative value in the near future as well. In fact, anything the liberal ideologies support will be supported by conservatives at some point.
In essence, a conservative is a liberal, when people ask about the two-party system and why that is the mainstay of all western countries, it is because there is only one ruling ideology/group of all our nations, just as it has been for thousands of years. The rulers past that of 200-300 years ago were all Christian monarchists, their ideology was “order”, and before 2000 years ago they were pagan spiritualists with a might makes right approach. Today the west is ruled by what are essentially marxists, or slave drivers if you will, with a liberal approach. Conservatives conserve nothing and are apart of this system, they just think they’re separate because their views are older.
To truly make political change one needs to recognize that one’s ideals are different from the ruling elite. This requires the recognition of change, not conservation. There needs to be radical change in order to stop the trend. New traditions, new governments, new countries, new ideologies, whilst keeping the facts of life and recognizing these facts as dogmatic, unchangeable, and eternal. It is only via change can the “conservative” truly oppose the liberal establishment. Therefore, this change to true order must be looked at from the outside perspective. This is done by mentally detaching oneself from the world. From the problems and ideas of the day, and looking to inspirations from the past, which must only be recognitions of eternal truths, and inventing new “progressive” ideals to suit the future. But I do not say “conservative” or “progressive” as a way of finding the middle ground. Absolutely not. Instead, one has to ignore liberal or conservative ideas entirely and find ideas outside of both, not at all needing any middle ground or ideas from either of them, because they are both inherently flawed.
