Australian Manifest Destiny. Terraforming the mainland.

Australian Manifest Destiny. Terraforming the mainland.

In the 1800’s in the United States there was a popular concept called “Manifest Destiny.”

That being that the US was destined to expand its territory westward towards what is today Oregon and Washington.

It was the shared idea that these vast and beautiful lands were destined to be settled by Americans, and that the resources should be utilized by US individuals for the good of all, and to the benefit of future generations.

The Americans achieved this goal plus more, with the annexation of Mexican lands like California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.

Not long after they acquired the majority of what is now mainland USA, they became a superpower.

Australia mimics the US in so many ways. It’s undeniable. There is no other country on earth as similar as us four nations, New Zealand and Canada included.

I once saw someone write that Australians are just British Texans. I can no longer unsee this.

And one of the major similarities we share is that we also have a vast untapped wilderness at our doorstep.

But in our case, acquiring these lands are 10 times easier.

The only thing in our way is our highly socialistic and controlling government, and the racial apartheid of Native Title.

With these issues fixed, we could see a vast surge in productive enterprise pouring into mainland Australia.

Into the heart of the bushland and the desert.

We have so much resources in Australia it’s criminal that we are not tapping into it.

And beyond this, with a sane government that prioritizes Australians and our born and bred future generations, we could even see a massive wave of terraforming arise.

Terraforming the likes of which no one has ever seen in the history of Earth.

We’ve seen it done in the Netherlands. A country I watch very closely.

They have proven that you can terraform a nation to suit the peoples wants and desires, all whilst improving the environment.

Right now, people say it’s impossible to terraform mainland Australia.

I think that is a lazy way to think.

Even if it takes 200 years, I believe it is more than achievable.

In fact, there is a theory that before the Aboriginals arrived here, the whole continent used to be a forest.

And that it was their burning practices that destroyed it.

Regardless, there is a massive area in South Australia that is below sea level. Filling this up and extending that area, could potentially see an inland sea forming.

There are also dams and potential dam sites in Queensland too that can help in diversion which may spur on positive environmental change.

The task would be mammoth.

But absolutely amazing and exciting.

It would be incredibly complex and most of the tech used to do it, and the ideas of which direction to go in, still haven’t even been invented or discovered yet.

The inland of Australia is our manifest destiny. And it should be opened up to any and all entrepreneurs to develop.

No red tape. No restrictions. A free for all.

A wild west.

This is the best way to build, when government beauracracy stays out of it.

I want to see this happen. Unfortunately, we have other problems to deal with first. But the dream is still fascinating.

Just another reason for you to stand up and make real political change in this country to remove socialism and the widespread virus of anti-Australian sentiment, and bring our country back to normalcy.
